在社会快速发展过程中,城市供水区域呈不断扩大的趋势。一直以来供水公司都是依据供水压力高低和流量大小来进行供水调度。这就需要重视供水管网压力和流量的监测,这样才能使调度人员更好的掌握各个区域的供水情况,及时发现供水管网中存在的异常情况,确保供水的安全。GPRS作为通用无线分组业务,是一种基于GSM系统的无线分组交换技术,能够提供无线IP连接,最大优势在于其数据传输的速度,因此将GPRS应用到供水管网调度系统中,不仅能够有效的对供水管网进进行监控,而且能够将管网压力和流量数据采集和存储在供水调度中,使设计人员能够实时对管网的动态进行监测,有效的保证供水的安全。
