查看国内外对《愤怒的回顾》的研究,发现大多研究者从男主角吉米出发或从“愤怒”出发来剖析剧本。本文另辟角度,从女主角出发。试图从艾丽森回家(艾丽森的回归)所反映的一种静止状态的角度来分析《愤怒的回顾》。本文主要从以下四方面进行阐述:1)艾丽森所体现的静止状态及艾丽森的归家对其静止状态的完善。2)吉米:愤怒的青年,有理想却找不到一个着力点去行动,一种静止状态及艾丽森的归家对其的完美表达。3)艾丽森回归家庭代表了家庭中的静止状态。4)反映了当时英国社会的一种静止状态。艾丽森的归家仿佛是作者有意安排的导线,由这一个引子或结尾来完整的体现那种无法改变,无能为力的静止状态。
