As for the time when the People’s Liberation Army marched into Fujian in 1949, the old version of “Selected Works of Mao Tse-tung” was different from the new version. Old version said in June, the new version said in July. (See the article “Order to march into the country.” Recently, another suggestion was made that it should be May. Hu Zhefeng’s article “Differentiating and Analyzing Three Ways of Entering Fujian Time” argues that the above three statements are based on each other.
