前言刺槐(Robinia pseudoacacia Linn)是陕西黄土高原造林最为广泛的一个先锋树种,它适应性强,生长快,繁殖容易,造林成活率高,成林迅速,能较早地发挥防护效益,因而深受生产上欢迎。在以往造林中,由于没有掌握好刺槐的生态学特性和其适生的立地条件,未严格贯彻适地适树这一基本原则,在一些不适宜刺槐生长的立地条件上造林,以致生长差异大,生产力低,效果不良。因此,对刺槐林分的立地质量作出科学评价,对提高刺槐的造林成效和生产力具有重要意义。一、材料的收集刺槐林的调查,是在我省黄土高原沟壑区和黄土丘陵沟壑区所属的30多个县内,按不同立地条件布设临时标准地进行的。标准地面积不少于400米~2。按100米~2选取1株优
