艺术并不是对现实社会人生的反映,也不是对于绝对理念(道、梵、逻格斯)的感性表现,艺术是人类的情感在不同社会话语环境之下的自我敞露、展开和演绎。从存在论的角度看,它是人类情感的自在性实体,永恒地自在于与人类的理性、理智的对话状态之中,是人类感性、理性、对话性交往共在的一极。艺术精神与主流意识形态发生疏离,其前提是一定社会的主流意识形态表现为人类的理性、理智的设计,因为这些出于人类理性和理智设计的宗教哲学理念、社会组织架构、政治、法律意识一旦成为占统治地位的权力话语,就必然对“重情抑理”或“情理并重”的艺术文化进行打压甚至清除。艺术精神对主流意识形态的疏离说明艺术自有其顽强的生命力和自我圆成的巨大惯性。
