一九六五年以前,我厂矿热炉用自焙电极壳,系采用笨重的铆钉铆接等手工操作方法。我们试制长臂点焊机始自一九六五年。点焊是一种形成永久结合的金属连接。焊接时,电流通过焊件而局部发热,同时在焊件的热接触处,施以压力,使之成一点。根据上述点焊原理,我们利用一台报废的100千伏安单相变压器进行改造试验。经过一百多次的反复试验,终于找出了焊接厚为1—1.5毫米钢板的各项合理的技术参数。电极臂有效伸长为一米时,二次空载电
