“直线桶形”掏槽爆破是坑道掘进工程中一种大有使用前途的作业方法。同时也是斫岩爆破人员能够从中练出一套硬功夫的作业方法。因为它目前的炮眼深度是2.5米到4米左右,今后斫岩技术不断提高,眼深将不受限制,则每爆破一次,其坑道进尺将更加可观。所以它早已为采矿部门所使用,探矿部门也大量使用。只要是爆破技术过硬,爆破材料优良,炮眼合乎规格,管理工作又有条有理,它所显示的优越性,是其它爆破方法所不能比拟的。随着我国采矿工程和探矿工程的迅速发展,以及我国矿山机械化程度的不断提高,这一方法,将普遍为人们所使用。就拿探矿工程求高级储量的大型深远坑道来说,只要能妥善使用这一方法,竟比斜眼掏槽掘进法为强。所以对于它的研究,是大有经济意义的。
