课堂是语文学习的主阵地,学习习惯的培养、学习方法的获得,很大程度上取决于课内。但课内不是语文教学的起点,更不是语文教学的终点。生活是培养语文能力的源头活水,语文天然是与生活联系的。美国教育家华特·科勃涅斯有句名言:“语文学习的外延与生活的外延相等。”语文教学一定要向广阔的生活开放,有意识地以语文课堂教学为轴心,向生活相关领域扩展,使语文教学形成一个“辐射型”的整体网络结构。校园文化、各学科语言、课外读物、社会实践等等,都是学习语文的好教材。书本以外的生活,既是人生的教科书,也是语文学习的广阔天地,正如吕叔湘先生所说:“语文课跟别的课有点不同,学生随时随地都有学语文的机会。”
