《中华人民共和国劳动法》已经八届全国人大常委会第八次会议审议通过,并将于1995年1月1日起正式实施。《劳动法》的颁布实施是我国人民社会政治生活中的一件大事,各级党政领导机关、企事业单位和广大劳动者都应认真学习、坚决贯彻《劳动法》。我们党和政府历来十分重视保护劳动者的合法权益,重视劳动法制建设。早在1978年,邓小平同志就提出要制定劳动法。改革开放十多年来.有关部门经过大量调查研究,反复论证,先后形成《劳动法》(草案)30余稿。党的十四大以后,根据建立社会主义市场经济体制的要求,有关部门对草案进一步作了大量的论证、修改工作。现
The Labor Law of the People’s Republic of China has been reviewed and approved by the Eighth Session of the Eighth NPC Standing Committee and will be officially implemented on January 1, 1995. The promulgation and implementation of the “Labor Law” is a major event in the social and political life of our people. The leading organs, enterprises, institutions and the general workforce at all levels should conscientiously study and resolutely implement the “Labor Law.” Our party and government have always attached great importance to protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers and attaching importance to the construction of the legal system for labor. As early as 1978, Comrade Deng Xiaoping proposed the enactment of a labor law. After more than a decade of reform and opening up, the relevant departments, after extensive investigations and studies and repeated demonstration, have successively formed over 30 drafts of the “Labor Law” (draft). After the 14th CPC National Congress, in accordance with the requirements of establishing a socialist market economic system, the relevant departments made a lot of further proofs and revisions to the draft.
