和众多后生晚辈一样,我对冼星海曾经所知寥寥,最多只限于《黄河大合唱》中“风在吼,马在叫”等极其有限的几首合唱歌曲。接手拍摄本片的任务后,我满怀崇敬之情广泛搜集和研究资料,力图全面深入地了解拍摄对象。而事实上,当拍摄方案和解说词等案头工作搞定后,虽然对其生平脉络和重要作品有了一个相对全面和完整的把握,但冼星海的形象在我的心里依然是平面和单色调的。全片进入人物访谈阶段后,我们先后在北京、广州、上海、杭州、武汉等地访问了冼星海的亲人和战友.通过与他们的接触,我们获得了大量感性的材料。冼星海依然生动的形象从他们的记忆中走进了我们的镜头,走进了观众的视野。使我们看到了一个有血有肉的冼星
