学生的兴趣可以通过教师生动的语言、 形象的动作、教具的演示等多种方法激发。而学具的操作具体直观,摸得着,看得见,上课时教师引导学生在学中玩,玩中学,对激发低年级学生的学习兴趣起着很重要的作用。学具的操作对培养中、高年级学生的学习兴趣是否也有这样的作用呢?答案是肯定的。即使是六年级学生,思维仍处在由具体形象思维向抽象逻辑思维过渡的阶段,也就是说,他们的思维发展、兴趣的培养同样要以实践活动为基础。
