《商务英语翻译》是高职高专商务英语专业学生的必修课程,其目的在于培养学生的商务翻译能力。目前高职高专院校的商务英语翻译教学依然采用传统的教学方式,以理论为核心,没有真正地将该课程转化为实践实训课程,无法使商务英语专业学生将翻译能力运用到将来的商务类工作中,无法满足就业市场对商务英语专业学生翻译能力的要求。因此,笔者认为高职《商务英语翻译》课程教学应该进行改革,应该加强并突出高职教育这一特点。本文通过分析目前高职商务英语翻译教学的现状,针对性地提出了高职商务英语翻译课程在课程设置、教材教法、师资建设等方面改革的具体措施。
Business English Translation is a compulsory course for Business English majors in higher vocational colleges. Its purpose is to cultivate students’ business translation skills. At present, the business English translation teaching in higher vocational colleges and universities still adopts the traditional teaching method, and regards the theory as the core. It does not really turn the course into a practical training course and can not enable business English majors to apply translation ability to the future Business class work, unable to meet the job market for business English majors translation ability requirements. Therefore, I believe that higher vocational education “Business English Translation” should be carried out teaching reform, we should strengthen and highlight the characteristics of higher vocational education. By analyzing the present situation of business English translation teaching in higher vocational colleges, this paper puts forward concrete measures for the reform of business English translation courses in higher vocational education in terms of curriculum, teaching material and teaching methods, teacher construction and so on.
