岩石崩落及基岩塌陷给公路养护和灾害防止带来严重问题。基岩的渐进破裂被认为是塌陷的实际原因。在评估基岩塌陷的危险性时,不仅要预先探测地表裂隙的分布,而且要探测岩体内部破裂程度,这是非常重要的。在熔结凝灰岩采石场的直立岩壁上进行了地面探测雷达(GPR)测量,研究GPR在绘制岩体内部裂隙的分布和连续性方面的适用性。GPR在基岩内裂隙的反射波探测深度约4m。对比GPR记录与地表可见裂隙状态,进一步证实了含水的裂隙十分强烈地反射电磁波。
Rock caving and bedrock collapse have serious problems with road maintenance and disaster prevention. Gradual rupture of bedrock is considered as the actual cause of collapse. In assessing the risk of bedrock collapse, it is important not only to detect the distribution of surface fissures in advance, but also to detect the degree of internal rupture in the rock mass. Ground penetrating radar (GPR) measurements were performed on the upright rock wall of the melted tuff quarry to investigate the applicability of the GPR in mapping the distribution and continuity of fractures within the rock mass. GPR in the bedrock fissure reflected wave detection depth of about 4m. Contrasting the GPR records with the visible fissures on the ground surface, it was further confirmed that the water-bearing fissures reflect the electromagnetic waves very strongly.
