在水力计算的一些经验公式中,为了简化计算常将某些量纲带入了系数。近年来有的同志忽视了这些系数带有的量纲,以为量纲不能协调平衡,提出了某些经验公式不能使用的论点。这对利用简化公式计算,造成了思想上的混乱。为此,对几个典型经验公式的量纲组成加以分析,说明它是在量纲完全协调的半经验公式的基础上简化而成的,是完全可以使用的。例如实用堰自由式堰流的水力学公式为:Q=MbH~(3/2) (1)式中Q—流量(m~3/s); b—堰宽(m);H—堰上总水头(m);M—流量系数;
