In order to study the impact of the medical insurance model on employee behavior, a stratified cluster random sampling method was used to investigate 1,336 employees in Shenzhen. The results show that: the implementation of social insurance and personal medical accounts combined with the medical insurance model, using the press The payment method of average cost standard payment has a great impact on employees’ medical behavior and the degree of utilization of health services. The two-week medical consultation rate and annual hospitalization rate of employees are higher than the average level of major cities in 1993, and the average hospital stay per person per year.
