火场摄影属新闻摄影范畴。新闻摄影按新闻事件发生状态划分,一般分为突发性新闻摄影和预知性新闻摄影两大类。突发性新闻,这是一种在预料之外突然发生的新闻事件,具有高度的偶然性,显然火场摄影属于突发性新闻摄影范畴之列。突发新闻作为新闻报道中的一个重要组成部分,一般意义上可分为天灾和人祸两个部分。“天灾”主要由一些不可预测、不可抗拒、不可避免的各种自然因素造成的,如台风、地震、海啸、水灾等。“人祸”则主要是由人为因素造成的,如火灾、空难、沉船、火车颠覆、交通事故、瓦斯爆炸、垮塌等生产性事故。随着消防职业精神的不断延伸,实际上消防的人道力量已渗透于火灾以外的各种灾害现场。
