来自中国人民公安大学的副教授王镭，是参加“春兰杯”１９９７年全国公安系统北京──深圳摩托车训练拉力赛４位女车手之一，也是４位“女警花”中年龄最大的一位。在整个拉力赛中，她始终保持着旺盛的精神和坚强的斗志，在每天十分劳累的情况下，坚持写日记。在途中，王镭虚心请教同路人，车技提高不少。在温州至福州的赛段末尾，王镭不慎受了伤，在伤势稍稍得以缓解的情况下，她忍着伤痛，继续驾车胜利到达终点。在她的身上，我们可以捕捉到其身上所特有的敢于挑战自身极限的精神，也能感受到其不怕吃苦的奉献精神。
