自贡市鸿鹤化工股份有限公司年产5万吨离子膜烧碱装置耗资3.1亿人民币,于2000年初建成投产.其中离子膜电解及附属设备管道和技术从日本氯工程公司引进;离子膜片碱的主体设备和技术从瑞士Bertrams公司引进.装置能耗低、产品纯度高,具有20世纪90年代国际先进水平,是公司引进的第一套大型进口装置.
