将Wistar大鼠(3、8、15及26月龄)随机分为三组:(1)对照组(包括3、8、15、26月龄);(2)黄芪组(包括15和26月龄);(3)枸杞子组(包括15和26月龄),黄芪组和枸杞子组分别以6%黄芪和3%枸札子水煎剂代替饮水喂饲5个月。测定各组动物血浆LPO含量、SOD活力及T3、T4、皮质醇水平。结果表明:大鼠血浆SOD活力随增龄而降低,LPO含量则随龄增高。黄芪和枸杞子煎剂均可使老年大鼠降低的SOD活力显著升高,血浆LPO含量显著下降;血浆T3、T4、皮质醇含量随增龄而降低,黄芪和枸杞子能显著增高老龄鼠血浆皮质醇水平
Wistar rats (3, 8, 15 and 26 months old) were randomly assigned to three groups: (1) control group (including 3, 8, 15 and 26 months of age); (2) Astragalus group (3) Fructus Lycii (15 and 26 months old), Astragalus membranaceus and Lycium barbarum were fed with 6% Astragalus and 3% Fructus Pseudostellae instead of drinking water for 5 months respectively. The plasma LPO content, SOD activity, T3, T4 and cortisol levels in each group were measured. The results showed that the activity of SOD in plasma of rats decreased with aging, while the content of LPO increased with age. Astragalus membranaceus and medlar decoction can significantly reduce SOD activity in aged rats and plasma LPO content decreased significantly; plasma T3, T4, cortisol levels decreased with age, astragalus and medlar significantly increased plasma Cortisol levels
