As early as the 1960s and 1970s, people found that tachycardia may lead to progressive cardiomyopathy and heart failure. Scholars such as Scott and Fenelon conducted a detailed histological and pathophysiological study of these syndromes and named them “tachycardic myopathy (TCM).” TCM is a rare but curable one that can cause heart failure
