Taking Australian block ore and Swedish pellet mine as examples, the paper analyzes cost-effectiveness and seeks to truly reflect the actual situation of production and solves the problem of maximizing profit in coordination with procurement and production. The aim is to guide the procurement of iron ore by using the evaluation results of cost performance of iron ore .
