自治区外事(侨务)办公室是自治区人民政府组成部门,是自治区人民政府外事工作的职能部门和自治区党委及其外事工作领导小组的工作机构,是全区执行国家对外政策和处理外事工作的综合归口管理部门。负责处理全区重大涉外事务,协调全区重大外事工作和涉外活动,提出制订全区外事侨务工作法规和工作规划的建议。
The Office of Foreign Affairs (Overseas Chinese Affairs) of the autonomous region is a functional department of the autonomous regional people’s government, the functional department of the autonomous regional people’s government, the party committee of the autonomous region and the leading group for its foreign affairs work. It is the comprehensive centralized management of the implementation of state foreign policy and handling of foreign affairs in the region department. Responsible for handling major foreign affairs in the region, coordinating major foreign affairs and foreign activities in the region, and putting forward suggestions on formulating rules and work plans for foreign affairs in the whole region.
