Chilean literary giant Roberto Bolano died so far, but only fourteen years. As the representative of the literary novelists in Latin America and “post-literary explosion”, the climax of his writing creation focused on the ten years of the turn of the century, which is precisely the period when Chile ended military dictatorship and established democratic politics. The dictatorship is over, but its shadow leaves the Chilean with scarring to heal. The writer himself experienced one of the “Latin American hell” generations, drifting between Latin America and Europe as a foreigner without roots.
