川南游击纵队产生于中央红军渡江失败之后的关键时期,为配合红军主力的战略转移,建立革命根据地,而临危受命于川滇黔边区与敌军顽强抗争。在长达一年多时间里,不但成功牵制敌军,而且发展了众多革命根据地,宣传革命运动,对中国革命战争的胜利作出了不朽的贡献,是中国革命史上光辉的一页。
The south guerrilla column originated from the crucial period after the failure of the Central Red Army crossing the river. In order to cooperate with the strategic shift of the main force of the Red Army and establish a revolutionary base, the south guerrilla column was endangered by the stubborn resistance of the enemy in the border areas of Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou. In more than a year’s time, not only the enemy troops have been successfully suppressed, but numerous revolutionary bases have been developed, the revolutionary movement has been promoted, and the monumental contribution to the victory of the Chinese revolutionary war has been made. It is a glorious page in the history of the Chinese revolution.
