众所周知,现在市场上几乎所有的主板BIOS芯片都是采用FLASH ROM(快擦写存储芯片),采用它的主要原因是为了方便用户自己能更新BIOS程序版本,以便主板能支持新的硬件,而CIH病毒就是利用了BIOS芯片这一特征,来破坏BIOS芯片里的BIOS程序,导致整个主板不能使用。 然而,并不是所有的BIOS芯片都能被随意更改的,有些主板就带有一个保护跳线,只有将跳线打开时,才能擦写BIOS芯片,例如精英的全系列主板都有这种功能。但目前市场上带有保护跳线的主板很少,保护跳线是主板抵挡CIH病毒最有力的防线,它要比软件预防CIH病毒更安全可靠,而且省去了软件需要维护的麻烦。
