By the end of 2002, the installed capacity of wind power generation has accumulated to 31 GW. Wind power projects in Europe and the United States headed by Germany have been developing rapidly. The installed capacity of wind power in Europe accounts for 75% of the world, the United States accounted for 15% (see Figure 1,2).
