一件书籍设计作品或一幅海报,首先给人以强烈印象的往往是色彩、形象,而其中的结构处理则表现为隐性的,但形式结构在整个作品中所产生的作用却经常是根本性的。 见到有的作品,“点子”想得不错,却不能在画面处理中得到好的效果,所以我认为,有必要进一步把平面设计中的形式结构问题做为专题来研究,找出一些规律性的东西。 一般讲,现代海报的视觉冲击力更多的源于新奇的创意和形象(包括具象的和抽象的)当然不排除形式结构的处理,只是为了更明确地讲清这个问题,姑且把此称为“海报手法”。就像是歌曲中的歌词,更趋于文学性表达。而形式结构即如其中的乐曲。 做为一首歌,乐曲的旋律、节奏等是更纯粹的音乐表现手段,而在平面设计等视觉艺术作品中,形式结构等构成手法才是根本的“设计语言”,作品中“海报手法”的创意和文学性表述则带有随机因素。 我的前期设计,由于对画面构成章法的不得要领,“海报手法”运用得较多,如《阿Q-70年》的书籍封面设计,字母“Q”与阿Q头像偶合的新奇创意给人留下较深刻的印象,文学性创意的倾向在这个设计
