庭院的设计是为了让人与自然环境融为一体,和谐发展,在当今社会,我们开始更多地关注庭院周围的绿化与庭院设计氛围所带来的美感,这也顺理成章地推动了庭院水景设计的步伐。如果我们稍加精心布置庭院的水景构造,将可以体会到生活的美妙,在精神层面上给了我们更多艺术画面,我国经济发展和时代的进步,促使了房地产业大规模的建设,从而使开发商和居民越来越重视庭院水景设计的重要性。在人们的日常生活中不难发现,围绕着溪流设计配景、水景小品,同时搭配着绿色植被花草营造出亭台楼阁的美妙情境,这也是我们了解的传统水景设计[1]。但这也无不显示着北方人们对优美景色的向往与追求,北方庭院水景与其他地方大不相同,因为北方拥有着独特的自然条件和区域性气候。因而根据北方特有的气候特征,设计水域景观的难度也有所增强,比如说枯水景观等等。
