《黑猫》是埃德加·爱伦·坡众多短篇恐怖小说中极具代表性的作品之一。小说描述了主人公在酒精作用下,内心逐渐变得阴暗、扭曲、邪恶,随后犯下虐猫、杀猫等一系列恶行,进而遭到黑猫复仇的恐怖故事。作者主要从黑猫意象、原罪思想、文字陷阱和心理陷阱这四个方面着手,通过精心的背景预设进行心理暗示,层层铺垫,成功的编织了一张恐怖之网,将读者笼罩在恐怖之中。
Black Cat is one of the most representative works of Edgar Allan Poe’s short stories.
