本文旨在探究学术论文文献综述的语类结构及其在英语和汉语学术论文中呈现的特征。语类分析发现,我们修订的四语步模型适用于英汉文献综述语篇;不过汉语作者更习惯于选择线性结构,而循环结构在英语语篇中占优势,其它差异主要限于策略或步骤层面。学术论文体裁对其语篇结构的影响大于语言文化因素。
The purpose of this paper is to explore the grammatical structure of academic thesis literature reviews and the features they present in English and Chinese academic papers. Categorical analysis shows that our revised four-step model is applicable to English-Chinese literature review discourse; however, Chinese writers are more accustomed to choosing linear structures while cyclic structures are dominant in English discourse while other differences are mainly confined to tactical or procedural aspects. The influence of academic thesis genre on its discourse structure is greater than that of language and culture.
