2004年,美国麦格劳-希尔(McGraw-Hill Companies,Inc.)出版了美国高中主流理科教材Biology·The Dynamics of life,该教材的中译本《生物·生命的动力》于2008年由浙江教育出版社出版…(以下简称“教材”)。通过研读中美两国高中生物学教材,笔者发现,美国教材在“栏目设计”“活动安排”和“内容编排”上,有其新颖和独到之处,因此,笔者以美国教材第18章“DNA与基因”第3节“基因突变与其他变异”一节为例,来研究美国教材的编写特色。
