2004年上海市教育工作会议提出了2010年上海基础教育基本实现现代化的要求。现代化一般是以追赶比自己高一层次的国家或地区为目标的,那么上海基础教育与纽约、伦敦、巴黎和东京这四个著名的国际大都市相比处于什么水平呢?这些国际大都市在发展中有着相似的特点:人口密度大、经济发展迅速、对外的开放性高、文化多元化,因此有着现实的可比基础。我们希望通过城市间的比较,能够在看到上海基础教育已取得的成绩的同时,发现进一步努力的方向。
The 2004 Shanghai Education Conference proposed the basic requirements for the modernization of basic education in Shanghai in 2010. Modernization is generally aimed at catching up with a country or region higher than itself. So what is the basic education in Shanghai compared to the four famous international metropolises of New York, London, Paris and Tokyo?
