YZ90型导轨式独立回转凿岩机,由南京战斗机械厂与河北铜矿、长沙矿山研究院联合设计试制的,经在矿山进行万米以上工业试验后,已于1974年8月经一机部和冶金部联合主持鉴定定型,现已成批生产。 YZ90型凿岩机与凿岩台车或凿岩台架配套,用于中硬或坚硬矿岩(f=8～18)钻凿Φ50～Φ80毫米的炮孔,凿深可达30米。该机主要用于井下采矿场钻凿上向平行及扇形炮孔;与露天台车配套,可在中小型露天采矿场或石方工程钻凿下向或水平炮孔。亦可用于需要钻凿中深孔的其他作业。
