花生是一种高产作物，价格也高于水稻、小麦、大豆、玉米等，经济效益好。加入WTO后，其它作物的经济效益进一步下降，花生的比较效益优势却更加明显。发展花生种植及加工。提高花生产品的科技含量和附加值，是调整农业产业结构和增加农民收入的有效手段。
