The authors observed recall responses to booster immunization in 78 infants who had been vaccinated with very low-dose (1 or 2 μg) blood-borne hepatitis B vaccine (PDV) three infants. The average age of these children is 46 months and the time of vaccination is at birth, 6 weeks and 5 months of age. At 4 years of age, 2 μg recombinant DNA (rDNA) Hepatitis B vaccine was boosted and anti-HBs were detected by radioimmunoassay before vaccination and 2 weeks after vaccination. Anti-HBc was also tested by enzyme immunoassay prior to vaccination. Using WHO anti-HBs standards, they were diluted to 0, 12.5, 15, 25, 50, 100, 150 and 200, respectively
