孕产妇死亡率是反映社会经济和妇幼卫生保健工作的一项敏感指标。笔者对天津市1978～1997年孕产妇的死亡率、死亡原因及其变化趋势进行分析,以期为降低孕产妇死亡率制定相应干预措施提供依据。
Maternal mortality is a sensitive indicator of socio-economic and MCH health work. The author analyzes the maternal mortality rate, the cause of death and its changing trend from 1978 to 1997 in Tianjin in order to provide the basis for the corresponding interventions to reduce the maternal mortality rate.
