与一般植物以叶为主要光合器官不同,油菜在结实期以果实(果皮+种子)为主要光合器官。为弄清油菜果实的光合特征与物质生产的关系,用农林16号油菜种子,于1975年10月10日在东京大学农学系附属农场苗床内播种,12月11日分株移植于1/2000公亩的瓦格纳氏盆内,盆施基肥10克(N:P_2O_5:K_2O=12:18:16),用盆排列成5种不同密度的间距,于1976年4月中旬始花期及5月中旬结实中期测定叶面积指数(LAI)、果皮面积指数
