种子纯度是种子质量分级最重要的依据,如何准确鉴定种子纯度是确定种子质量等级的关键。GB/T3543~1995《农作物种子检验规程》和ISTA(国际种子检验协会)1996《国际种子检验规程》都将田间小区种植鉴定作为种子纯度鉴定最可靠最准确的方法,但两个《规程》中关于田间种植鉴定的各个步骤、各个环节的要求并不具体,可操作性不强,不同地方不同检验人员执行起来差异较大,而且,不同作物的播种方式、最佳鉴定时间等关键环节存在较大的不同。本文中笔者根据多年从事种子质检工作的体会,总结出一套较为完整的杂交玉米种子纯度鉴定技术,供同行们参考。
