为了慶祝即將到来的“十一”国慶九周年,目前有很多机关的档案工作部門發起了大搞利用、参考工具或整理积存档案的运动。用他們在档案工作上的突出成績向“十一”献礼。煤炭工業部和化学工業部的档案工作部門,就以这种实际行动准备着向国慶献礼。煤炭工業部档案工作部门为了配合煤炭工業的大躍进,發起了向“十一”国慶献礼的运动。提出要大搞三十种利用材料,另外还要做到送卷上門,保送保取以及建立超档案資料閱覽室等指标,作为向国慶的献礼。現在該部档案工作者正以愉快而紧張的心情工作着。化学工業部在今年四月份开始整理积存档案,但为了让档案資料迅速的为化学工業大躍进服务,在今年七月十四日該部召开的档案工作会議上發起了以半年时間(即从四月至九月)整完該部开国以来的四百多箱积存档案(旧政权档案未统计在内)和在各个立卷單位普遍推行平时立卷制度及在八、九两个月中各司局及直属單位的档案工作部門要搞出二至三种参考工具的号召。为了保証这个运动的發展,在九月末將要进行評比工作。
