科学发展观与构建社会主义和谐社会思想的提出,是当代马克思主义在中国的新发展。科学发展观与构建社会主义和谐社会是辩证统一的,前者是后者的根本指南,后者是前者的目标指向。具体地说,科学发展是社会和谐的第一要务,而社会和谐则是科学发展的必然结果。实践中不断推进科学发展观与构建社会主义和谐社会的有机统一,正确和深入理解科学发展观和和谐社会构建之间的辩证关系,对于了解和把握党和国家的大政方针,全面建设中国特色社会主义具有十分重要的现实意义。
