韩礼德建构系统功能语法是为了给语篇分析提供理论。系统功能语法可运用于很多领域。这一理论的可操作性和实用性在实践中得到了不断的证实。在此从语篇功能角度出发,对马克.吐温的《审判》一文的英语原文及其汉语译文做语篇衔接功能分析,作为对优秀文学作品从语篇功能角度分析和欣赏,进而来看一下英汉语篇衔接手段的异同。
Halliday constructs systematic functional grammar to provide theory for discourse analysis. System function grammar can be applied in many fields. The operability and practicality of this theory have been constantly confirmed in practice. From the perspective of discourse function, this paper analyzes the function of discourse cohesion between Mark Twain’s English version of “Judgment” and his Chinese translation, as an analysis and appreciation of outstanding literary works from the perspective of discourse function.
