After five years of construction, Sichuan’s national defense science and technology industry has made great strides in development and is at the forefront of the whole country in number of units, employees and total economic output. Sichuan Province is an important province in the implementation of the “Belt and a Road”, the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the strategy of developing the western region. It is also an important strategic base for the national nuclear industry, aerospace, aviation, weapons and military electronics and other military industries.
