改革开放以来,我国教育事业取得了举世瞩目的辉煌成就,实现了历史性的跨越,开创了我国教育事业发展最好的历史时期。突出表现在:一是普及教育,2000年在全国实现了基本普及九年义务教育的宏伟目标;二是高等教育,毛入学率达到15%以上,使我国高等教育进入国际公认的大众教育阶段。与此同时,各级各类教育都呈现出欣欣向荣、蓬勃发展的大好局面。世纪之交,“扩招”一词成了中国教育界高频率词汇。
Since the reform and opening up, China’s educational undertaking has achieved brilliant achievements that have attracted worldwide attention, achieved a historic leap, and created the best historical period for the development of education in China. The outstanding performance is as follows: First, universal education.
