本文以框架语义学为视角,通过实例分析,探讨英语名名复合词中独立框架与复合框架之间的关系。研究发现:(1)若两个独立框架与复合框架均未通过隐喻或转喻发生转移,其复合框架义属于简单合成;(2)若两个独立框架中任何一方通过隐喻或转喻发生转移而另一方保持本义,其复合框架义则发生语义部分偏离;(3)若复合框架整体发生隐喻或转喻,或两个独立框架中一方发生隐喻而另一方发生转喻,其复合框架义则发生整体偏离;(4)复合框架义大致简单合成或发生部分语义偏离的名名复合词,均有语义中心,且语义中心为右向;复合框架义发生整体偏离的名名复合词无语义中心,但存在意合中心;(5)独立框架与复合框架相互关联、相互影响,在此过程中,隐喻和转喻往往是激活框架转移的重要手段。
From the perspective of frame semantics, this article explores the relationship between the independent framework and the composite framework in English compound names by case studies. The results show that: (1) If neither of the two independent frames and the composite frame are transferred through metaphor or metonymy, the complex framework belongs to the simple synthesis; (2) If either of the two independent frames is transferred through metaphor or metonymy While the other party maintains the original meaning, and the semantic part deviates from the meaning of the composite framework. (3) If the composite framework occurs metaphor or metonymy as a whole, or metaphor of one of the two independent frameworks and metonymy of the other occurs, (4) The compound frame has the simple synthesis or partial semantic deviation of the name compound words, both have the semantic center, and the semantic center is the right direction; the compound frame has the overall deviation from the name compound words without semantic center, (5) The independent framework and the composite framework are interrelated and influence each other. In this process, metaphor and metonymy are often the important means to activate the framework transfer.
