A total of 1254 women placed MLCu250 from 1978 to 1984 and 754 women from 1983 to 1986 placed MLCu375. Place time, including menstrual period, induced abortion, 3 to 6 weeks after spontaneous abortion and postpartum 6 to 8 weeks. Thirty-six patients (1.7%) had incomplete follow-up data.
