1997年初,三商行坐拥逾30亿元市值,比其他时装零售商佐丹奴、堡狮龙更早洞悉先机,开拓中、港、台三地中档时装市场。90年代初,三商行旗下品牌Theme一度是城中办公室女士必备上班服,Body Glove亦是年青人崇尚的品牌。置之死地而后生这些成绩源自三商行创办人赖雁浪对时装和制衣业的认识及眼光;可惜他天生不善理财,1997年金融风暴把他这个弱点彻底暴露,公司高峰期欠债2亿多元,1998年度亏损更超逾8亿元。接着的两年,赖雁浪要面对沉重的精神压力和冷言冷语,竭力替公司寻找出路。今年1月,三商行终于得到达利出手相助,为其背上债务,并注入3000多万作营运资金。
