采用电动机驱动的空气压缩机,在贮气罐压力达到额定值后,为了节约电能和减少机器的磨损,通常让电动机停转,待气罐内压力降到一定值后再启动电机。为使压缩机空负荷启动,必须将气缸及管路系统内的余压放掉,即为“放空”。采用环状阀片的压缩机放空机构有手动减荷阀和电磁阀,在一般条件下这两种方法方便可靠,但在特定条件下就不适用了。
