This article describes an ellipsoid-focused mirror plastic scintillator time detector. After careful consideration of its details, a thin film of NE102A at 25 MeV / u ~ (40) Ar and 2.06 mg / cm ~ 2 thickness was obtained. The system’s intrinsic time resolution, including light generation, collection and phototube, is about 140 ps, better than comparable international results. Monte Carlo simulation of the experimental process. The results are in good agreement with the experiment.
