民族民间文化作为中华文化的重要组成部分,为中华民族文化的繁荣与发展做出了重要的贡献。但是,随着时代的发展,弥勒市的许多民族民间文化正在消失,为此,弥勒市各级党委政府要高度重视对民族民间文化的开发和保护工作,加大对民族民间文化开发和保护的宣传,制定相应的保护措施;加大对东部山区乡镇民族民间文化的开发和保护力度等,切实开发和保护民族民间文化。
