In order to investigate the difference of sensitivity to the climatic factors of Pinus tabulaeformis populations with different diameters, we used tree-ring method to study the effects of large-diameter (average DBH 34.5 cm) and small-diameter Average diameter at breast height of 15.5 cm). The results showed that the average sensitivity of Pinus tabulaeformis was linearly negatively correlated with the DBH size. The response of the standard chronological table of Pinus tabulaeformis to climatic factors There was a positive correlation between spring and summer temperature, negative correlation with summer temperature and positive correlation with precipitation. Among them, there was a significant positive correlation between average temperature and maximum temperature in January-February of that year and September of that year (P < 0.05), but negatively correlated with the average temperature and maximum temperature in June of that year (P <0.05), the positive correlation with the lowest temperature in January ~ February and August ~ September (P <0.05) There was a significant positive correlation between precipitation in October, May of that year and July of that year (P <0.05). Meanwhile, the response of the standard chronological table of Pinus tabulaeformis to climatic factors was also different, that is, Pine showed a significant positive correlation with the precipitation in June of that year (P <0.05), and the highest temperature in July of that year (P <0.05) .Therefore, we should take into account the difference of responses to climatic factors between different diameter classes of Pinus tabulaeformis in the study of tree ecology.
